For Your Listening Pleasure

By Kathleen Shamp

Did you get to hear our choir’s concert in the recent Jubilation competition held at Pilgrim Church in Tremont? Epworth-Euclid Choir was one of the finalists in the contest, which can still be heard on WCLV’s website. In case you are not online, or would like to hear it on the radio, WCLV (104.9) will be broadcasting the finalists’ concerts on up-coming Musica Sacra programs which can be heard on Sunday mornings at 7:30 AM. Each broadcast will feature one of the six finalists sometime during the summer months. So do tune in and listen, and then come on in to Church at 11 AM. See you there!

“A Place of Refuge”

Epworth-Euclid United Methodist Church was featured in the latest Full Circle, a publication of University Circle, Inc. In part the article says: “Upon entering Epworth-Euclid United Methodist Church, one is immediately struck by the beauty and tranquility of its stained glass windows and dark, carved wood.” Accompanying the article was a picture of the Mary of Bethany window by the Chapel entrance. The other places of worship featured were Church of the Covenant, Mt. Zion Congregational Church, Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Temple-Tifereth Israel.
