The Epworth-Euclid Chancel Choir has been selected as one of six
finalists in the first annual WCLV/UCC Jubilation Chorus Challenge!
Selected out of 27 competing choirs, the competition was open to choirs
in any house of worship in six surrounding counties. The final round

Outlook, so please stay tuned. Congratulations and Hallelujah to the
Epworth-Euclid music program!!

Chancel Choir
New members are always welcome to this
ensemble of adult voices, singing anthems and other service music
for Sunday worship September through June. Thursday evening
rehearsals are assisted by four professional soloists who also serve
as section leaders. The Chancel Choir offers several special
programs throughout the year, including a hymn festival and an
oratorio or cantata with orchestral accompaniment during Advent and
Lent. Members range from students to retirees.
Handbell Choir
Using a four-octave set of Schulmerich
bells, this group rehearses weekly and plays for Sunday worship
several times each year. New members are always welcome and no
experience is needed. The ability to read music is a plus.
Epworth-Euclid Concert
Series
Special programs are offered several
times throughout the season by Chancel Choir Soloists or guest
artists, often with a luncheon or dessert following Sunday worship.
The concerts are open to the public.
Our music department provides free
practice space to Cleveland Institute of Music students throughout
the school year. For organ students, the opportunity to practice
on our Skinner pipe organ or the baroque pipe organ in the chapel
provides aspiring organists with an extraordinary musical experience.
Space is also provided for individual recitals, community concerts,
and instrumental competitions.
